Guthrie cask from Thornbridge

This weeks cask ale is ‘Guthrie’ from a new and exciting brewery Thornbridge.

It is a very light, flowery and hoppy pale ale with slight honey notes. For those who follow ‘Black Sails’, the ale is as twisted as Eleanor Guthrie herself!

Over the next few weeks you can come and try a few different cask ales from Thornbridge.

Thornbridge’s own description:

“Working closely with the experts at Bakewell, Reverend and the Makers own home brewer Ed Cosens collaborates in a celebratory tipple for the birth of Ed and Rachels son. Guthrie, named after the famed folk family, is made with cascade and galaxy hops.”
