About Windswept Brewing Co
Windswept Brewing Co is an award winning craft brewery based in Lossiemouth, on the shores of the Moray Firth in the North of Scotland.
Founded by two former RAF pilots, the ‘Windswept’ brand reflects their love of outdoor pursuits and the rugged natural beauty of the local area.
They brew a broad spectrum of craft ales including traditional British beers, a German wheat beer, strong American style IPAs, and seasonal brews, most of which are available in cask and bottle throughout the year.

Tornado – Single Hop Citra 6,7 %

Highland whisky distillers anCnoc are coming to visit Highlanders Bar on Wednesday, 19. June. They will be hosting a tasting at kl. 19 where there will be the oppertunity to hear more about their distilling process and to try a number of their whisky’s.
We expect to get a list of the bottles that will be included in the tasting early next week, tickets will be put on sale shortly after.

We have two different rum tastings organised with Carribean Rum Traders.
Saturday 4. May kl. 15
The first tasting will be on Saturday 4. May kl. 15 – we will be focusing on the islands producing rums, what happens to it after its made, its age, comparing sweet & dry rums, and a general round up of the world of rum. You will receive buying tips from CRT and will have the oppertunity to buy some of the bottles from the tasting.
If you have tried one of our Intro to Rum tastings, this is the next step up.
The second tasting will be focused on quality rums, like those from independant bottler Silver Seal.
You will have the oppertunity to try rums like;
– Silver Seal Demerara Port Mourant 13y 2003 51%
– Silver Seal Demerara Diamond 12y, 2003-2016, 46%
– Silver Seal Panama 2001, 16y 46%
– Silver Seal Trinidad 1991, 25y 51%
– Silver Seal Haitian Rum 2004 13y 46%
The tasting will includes at least 8 different top quality rums from around the world.
There will be an oppertunity to hear about the brands, the distilleries and the processes involved in making the higher end rums.
