So apparently today is like Christmas, we got a little delivery …..
….and I’m in Bruichladdich heaven and there are a few special ones including a Black Art 1st Edition, its in good company between the Black Art Second and Third Editions ….
..we have 18 Bruichladdich’s on the shelf now, though I doubt they will last long !!
See you all at the weekend …
We have just received a couple of new Mortlach’s in the bar for you to try. Mortlach was the first ‘legal’ distillery in Speyside’s whisky capital – it dates back to 1823.
The 18 & 25 year olds are part of the Mortlach range that was introduced just a few years back.
The 32 year old (from 1971) is a distillery bottling from the early 2000’s, it is cask strength (50,1%) ex-bourbon, and one of only 2160 bottles. It scores a rating of around 91-92 depending on who you ask and its definitely getting rarer by the day….
